That is sooo adorable! What type of yarn/thread did you use? and what size hook?

i used a 1.5 mm steel hook and a size 10 thread.. it's also called knitting cotton here

Thanks a lot for the tutorial & inspiration, I'm making one right now. Smiley One more thing though -- what about the button? Was it crocheted too? How? ^^

Hi aneesa, yeah the button's crocheted too.. you basically start with an adjustable ring and 6 sc into it.. then next round, you do 2sc in each sc , next 2 rounds sc in each sc and then decrease next round by skipping 1 sc between sc and stuff it with poly fill at this point, then decrease again by skipping 1 sc between sc for the next 2 rounds and fasten off.. hope this makes sense, i find it so hard to write patterns!

Thanks a bunch, soulcrochet! Smiley I didn't have any crochet cotton, so I used acrylic yarn and made this:

I had to use fabric for the inside bits, and a real button for the button, and experimented with some different stitches, but I still like it. Grin

I might like this one even better than the one on the first page.  I like the trim you put on top of the pockets.  Nice job!
