That's exactly what I'm doing!  I have a box of cards that are white with some embossing on them, I thought they'd be really easy to add things to.

This sounds really neat, yet simple to do.  Let me know when you are ready to start.

What ideas do people have for the stationery storage? I don't want to ruin anybody's swappin' surprises or anything, but I'm just curious what you're all thinking about.

I was thinking about making an album sort of thing with clear plastic sheet protectors like you use for photos or trading cards.  That way you'd be able to flip through all the easily-visible cards without having to dig through a box.

That sounds really cool... I hadn't thought of that. I was contemplating a fabric pouch or a repurposed box of sorts. Good thinking on keeping each card separate!

Um, I like the idea, but I'm not so eager to be sending out to 20 different people. Maybe if it was a 12 person swap and I only had to send to 11, that might work better.

And should there be a set number on how many notecards are sent out per package? I know some come in packs of 8, but others come in 12's or 6's.

I think you'd only be sending one notecard to each person, not an entire package.  That way postage wouldn't be too expensive... only the cost of one stamp per person.
