Feeling the need to crochet...

I like to knit, but more often than not I like to felt what I knit.

I just wondered where the UK knitters of this forum buy there 100% wool from online or from any national shops.

I've only really found http://www.getknitted.com which supplies 100% wool at a reasonable cost, but they only really have Cascade 220 in a large-ish variety of colours.

If anyone can provide me with information that would be brilliant!

Thanks Cheesy

Scandinavian Knitting Design stock all of the yarns used in the Drops Garnstudio patterns for very reasonable prices. It tells you in the colour card links which ones are suitable for felting.

Use what talent you possess - the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best

Online I've used Getknitted, Woolly Workshop, Texere and Angel Yarns. You can get feltable yarn including Noro from John Lewis in Oxford Street (and other branches too I think, although I've only been to those in Bluewater and Peterborough). I've bought Freedom Wool in my LYS and I know they also stock it in C&H Fabrics which has branches in Tunbridge Wells, Brighton and other locations in Kent and Sussex.

Hope that helps!
