Okay I got my Boulder Holders done! I'm just using peaches in cream until I figure out the bodice, and then I will make a nicer one in better yarn.

I'd like to revive this semi-dead thread because Lion Brand just emailed this pattern out again a couple (few?) weeks ago. I'd like some opinions on sizing.

I'm pudgy, and 18 weeks pregnant. Before I was pregnant I was 45-36-53" (bust-waist-hips) and as of today I am 51" bust, 42" underbust, 48" where my waist used to be, 55" hips and I haven't gained any weight yet  Undecided (I was really sick in the beginning)

I want to have lots of belly room because I'm carrying really high, and we're thinking that it's twins. It sounds like either there is an arrhythmia or a second heart beat when we were listening at the doctor's office, but when I had my ultrasound they only saw one with a perfect, normal heartbeat.

Either way I can only imagine that I'm going to get a lot bigger.

My first guess is that the 2X cups are going to be way too small. According to the pattern they are 9" wide. Each of mine are between 11.5" and 12" wide now. I imagine just adding rows until the cup covers what it needs to would be a good plan.

Does making a 1X with 2X+ size cups make sense given the situation?

Thanks everyone!

I think you could totally modify the pattern with bigger cups.  It's pretty forgiving and adaptable.  Congrats, by the way!  And let us know how your tank turns out!
