I'm planning on starting this soon...  I just started another summer sweater that I should get a little more progress on before I start something new, right?  Roll Eyes

I used Lustersheen last summer to make Orangina, and it worked out pretty well!

Well I guess no one has cast on yet, but I have some more notes on this pattern. I think you may want to pick up some extra yarn, I know the small size calls for 6 balls of 140 yds, which is 840 all together, but I'm about halfway done with the back and I've used about 320 yds, (one ball of luster sheer) I think if it continues this way then I'll have to try to get some more to finish. This is odd because usually I'm right on point when my swatch comes out at gauge. Oh well. I'll post a progress pic sometime this week.

Guess who made a rookie mistake and didn't read the pattern carefully? I decreased all the purl sections for the first decrease row and had to frog two pattern repeats!  Angry Back to where I started before the weekend, oh well, live and learn.

yay! ill join too!  im using jaeger trinity, which is spot on row wise but my stitches seem a bit longer than they are supposed to be.  now that ive decreased it doesn't seem that ginormous but we'll see.  im doing the 40" size and am currently still concerned about boob coverage...

and i cant post pics...so heres a link.

Kappatit it looks lovely, I think this is a shirt thats meant to be worn over a tank so coverage isn't an issue.

Well I'm almost done with the back, and seeing how I was running out of the yarn I'm using I ordered more (breaking my stash busting attempt) and now that it's here I see I've ordered the wrong color!! Now I have to wait for a second order to get delivered to finish. I'll post a pic as soon as the back is completed..

I was worried about the eyelets as well. When I get to the front I'll see if I have to elongate the chest area to compensate. This means I'd have to undo and redo a section of the back, but after so much work I would hate for this to be another thing knit up and stashed in the drawer never to be seen again.  Tongue

I bought the yarn for Josephine yesterday and knitted swatches. I'm using RYC Luxury Cotton in Damsel (I had a yarn shop voucher for Xmas from my Nan Cheesy). It's very slightly heavier than the specified yarn but I got gauge using a 3.25mm needle without it being too tight.

If I get time I'm going to cast on tonight. Glad to see there's a knitalong!
