I am sewing an apron for a friend of mine who graduated from Teachers College and am stuck on a saying (cute and kid friendly) to put on the front of it.  I was thinking of something like "will teach for crayons" but I keep thinking that the sentence doesn't sound right.  "Will teach for hugs" sounds better but I don't know if that is appropriate.  I just don't want to use the typical sayings (#1 teacher, A+, etc.).  If you have any ideas please let me know.  I will make sure to post the apron when I finish it.  Thanks!!

Probably not what you want ... I don't know your friend's humor level but...

My fave bumpersticker EVER!!!: "My kid beat up your honor roll student"

I personally like the "will teach for crayons" saying... maybe something like "raise your hand if you wan to learn"   Depending on how esoteric you want to get you could have it say "Tabula Rasa"... that's very scholastic!

that totally didn't help, did it...

"Always on the Menu: Knowledge!"
Or expand on this idea (I'm stuck on the word 'whip'):
"Whipping up knowlege"

My favorite bumper sticker is one I first saw 11 years ago in the Smashing Pumpkins (one of my all time fav. bands) music video for 1979 is "Proud Parents of a D Student."  I'd like to put that on my car.

I also agree that "Will teach for crayons" is good and kid friendly.
