Ok, so I'm a beginner at sewing. (Just bought my first sewing machine) and my mom has been trying to teach me a few basics. Well after looking through a TON of the posts here yesterday, I was feeling crafty last night and I ATTEMPTED my first unsupervised project (haha) So I gathered some scraps and followed this tutorial:
http://www.splityarn.com/split_yarn/2005/10/sew_an_easy_cha.html
Seemed simple, but my case ended up looking more like a tampon case rather then a credit card/wallet thing. Maybe I measured wrong?? Either way! I'm so proud of it, even with all of it's flaws. So here it is, in all it's glory... Dont mind the uneven stitching and the horrible button hole! (I've never made a button hole before!)

That fabric is adorable! And who cares about your mistakes? Better than I could have done.

It's an adorable little pouch. And it looks the perfect size for tampons, even if you didn't intend it for that first off.
I love that fabric.Smiley
