I posted this project yesterday in the Purses, Wallets and Bags Forum.  I made it yesterday, it's going to be a Christmas present for a friend of mine.  I wanted to make something that would serve both as a gift bag and a gift in itself.  I was originally going to make the bag look like a wrapped present but decided against it because it was too Christmasy, then I realised that if I made it look like the bag was made out of gingerbread then it could be used all year round.  I used Italian suiting fabric for the bag, it was on sale and it's the perfect colour and consistency to look like gingerbread.

I can post a tutorial if anyone is interested.

I love it!  And the inside is like a candy cane.  It's really great; a tutorial would be nice!
