Oh, cool! I'm interested, but I have a couple questions first.

- Are we signing up to send to multiple people, or are you going to match people willing to make multiple kits with each other? Just because it makes a difference if I'd be making, say, three identical kits for three different people versus three different kits for the same person.

- If we make kits that involve patterns (sewing, knitting, etc), do they need to be original or "freeware" if we aren't buying another copy of the pattern and including that in the package? I'm honestly not sure what's acceptable here, and since most of the patterns I have on hand are from books (so I'd probably be sending only one pattern from a book with ~30-odd, but still a published pattern) . . . 

- Are there any guidelines as to what needs to be included in a kit? Like, most swaps do the small/medium/large item breakdown; does this one, and if so, does it apply to putting the kit together or to the item that the kit makes?

if i may step in here, i'd like to take a crack at this. what i think Little Green Dragonfly is trying to do is create a stock or inventory of how many kits are available to send based on the questionares she receives. she would then distribute her "stock" amongst the kit requests she gets to make everyone gets what they want. Am I right so far?

Ok, the problem with that, is the shipping rates sky rocketed this week and it wouldn't be very economical to ship to more than one person to fulfill a swap duty.

High Shipping = compromised swap packages

Might I suggest that you (Little Green Dragonfly) just match people the best you can, and set a solid swap requirement so no one is dissapointed.

i.e. minimum 2 kits unless discussed with your swap partner.

what does everyone think about this?

Sariel, I think we will be sending and receiving from different people. and for your last questions I think if you looked through the previous galleries maybe you could get an idea what amount you should send. I think whatever is necessary for the item to be crafted should be included. As far as your middle question goes, I have no idea.

You will be sending one kit to 2 or 3 people (you tell me if you can send 2 or 3)
 
The kits that you send are the ones you tell me you can make
eg johnni can make a knitting kit, beer goggles kit and a pink mobile cover kit. Jenny would love a pink mobile kit. Therefore Johnnie will send to Jenny

I will do my best to match you all up.

Patterns can be photocopied from books - providing you state which book (copy right laws). Patterns can also be originals.

All kits need to include :
-project sheet with instructions and techniques (feel free to include samples/examples)
-materials
-tools with which to complete the project eg papers etc for scrapbooking yes - hammer for smashing mosaic tiles no).
