this is a long shot, but...

If any of you own any vintage skippers (60's) have you ever removed their heads (for re-rooting of hair) or read/heard of how to properly remove their heads so as to not damage them.

also, I'd just like to know if there's any other crafters out there who own/collect vintage skippers? I just accidentally bought 4 of them this past weekend Wink on ebay.

 I started looking at them because i hear their body dimensions are similar or the same as Blythe. I am involved in a swap and my partner has some Blythes that I'd like to make clothes for. If anyone can confirm that skippers have same body dimensions, I'd appreciate that as well.

I do believe the body dimensions are the same, since I own skipper clothes and they fit my Blythe. As for the head removal/rerooting, you may want to check out dollyhair.com
