Oooh, DH just LOVES typewriters.  Manual, of course.  He has a 1940s royal (not much character, but we use it functionally), an older Underwood in his parents' basement, AND...

a ca. 1900 Type 2 Hammond (did I get that right?) which we/he received as a wedding gift.  It uses the funky half-round keyboard.

I wish I could join this but I've just started summer semester at school and I'm swamped.  I'll just have to lurk!

Ohh...typewriters.  I adore typewriters.  If I have any money for shipping and such when sign-ups starts, I'd be interested.

Ooh! I love typewriter themed goodies, though I am regrettably not the owner of one Wink

I've had this swap package on my wists forever... (isn't that some serious inspiration!): http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=109088.msg1118598#msg1118598

Oh, I like this !
(winks the proud owner of a typewriter tatoo on her back).

I had to give away my baby (typewriter) when I moved most recently, but I still adore thy clicks and clanks...

(I wanna join this swap. I'll make a stencil or stationary or photography of some sort. I could also swap a typewriter of felt or something)

I'll probably start the sign-ups about mid-june when my current swaps end...that is, if enough people are interested.

Okay, I still want to organize, but the sign-ups may be pushed back a month because I just found out my new job will require more time than I had previously thought, but maybe not, I'll just have to see how it goes. So now count on beginning to middle of July.

Would everyone interested be able to do this swap if I started sign-ups around June 27, with sendouts at the end of July?
