Ooh, I love the garters that S is for Summer made for TessTessi - that is such a good idea!   Could you give some tips on how they're made as I'm totally planning on making some. What kind of fabric did you use since they'd have to be stretchy.

I'm also loving the seat covers that people have made. I thought about making one but wasn't sure about the shape/pattern but all the ones shown are awesome, so maybe I should just try it after all.

Here's the goodies I received from anastrophe:

A fantastic bag with a bicycle sewn on the front. I'm afraid my photos don't really show how great the the stitching of the bike looks.

You can see it better in this picture which is really to show of the cute bag/purse that has velcro loops on the back so I can attach it to handlebars or my belt. Inside are flannel cloths for wiping down my bike - this is such an excellent, thoughtful gift since my bikes live outside in the Pacific Northwest and get pretty wet. I'm always having to dry the seat off before going cycling.

And here's photos of a keychain made from bicycle chain and a blinkie light flower for the back of my bike - great since I ride my bike to commute and it's often dark then.

Thanks anastrophe!

vratch: S if for Summer can correct me if I'm wrong, but these appear to be headbands that she embroidered Smiley  Maybe baby headbands?

Yep!  They're just purchased headbands.

And Tess, nope, I don't think I knew you liked elephants - that button just kept looking at me - I guess it just wanted to go to your house!  I'm really glad you liked those.  I wasn't sure how they would turn out, but in the end I was really happy about it.  I might make some for me.  I'm so sorry about the bike seatcover!  I thought about asking you to send me a tracing of yours or something, but I didn't want to ruin the surprise.  I really should have.  :/  The ribbon was purchased in a coordinated set, actually.  I think I got that at Jo-Ann.  To whomever it was that was kind of pining over the seatcovers - go for it!  I just winged it, and it turned out fine.  I'm thinking of making one for my own.

Oh, there was something else I was going to respond to here, but now I can't remember... it's been a long day, and I'm supposed to wake up in five hours.  Ugh.

I love the seat covers people have been coming up with!  And anastrophe, I'm beyond excited that you used bicycle parts to make that keychain, I was hoping someone would do something with the gear chain!

Great packages, ladies!  I hope everyone's been having some nice weather so they can get out and ride around in style!  It just started raining here, but maybe that will stop soon.

Okay, I finally found sometime to post up my awesome swap items! =]
Sorry, I have a lot but I just wanted everyone to admire what a great job vratch did! =]

After everything has been taken out of the box...

A note vratch wrote to me =]

An awesome knitted washcloth , either for myself or to wipe down the bike. But it's so cute that I don't think I would allow myself to wipe my bike.. xD

A bottle with a pretty cozy =]

A bottle holder sprayed purple along with a purple bell ^.^

An action shot of a T-shirt with a patch that has a girl biking ^.^

A really cool bag with velcro in the back to put on my handlebars or I can use the pink strap (that wasn't included in the pic.. to just use it)

I just had to get a picture of the awesome lining...

Action shot of both the shirt and bag ^.^

Magnet (shrinky dinks) of antique bike wheels.. they're already on my fridge xD

That's all folks! Once again, THANK YOU VRATCH for all the awesome stuff!! I'll take more pics when I put everything on my bike =]

What a fabulous package from vratch!  I love the bag (especially the lining) and the little wheels, since i have a bit of a weakness for shrinky-dink things.
