My DS's head outgrew all of last year's summer hats, so, I made him a new one!! I used Mccall's Pattern #4478 hat A.

Here it is:

Front shot of hat.  (It's falling off a little since he was jumping on the bed right before I snapped the pic.  Cheesy)

Extreme action side shot of hat.

Why is it so hard to get toddlers to sit still for 1 minute.  Wink

Thanks!  He didn't mind wearing the hat. I just had to chase  him through a couple of rooms to take the pics!  Cheesy

very nice!  I was thinking about making some coordinating hats for my kid's jackets.  Was it difficult?

Don't talk to me about toddlers who won't pause long enough for a  picture.  I may need therapy.

Vegbee, This pattern is so quick and easy to follow.  It's one of my favs!  I think the whole thing took me about an hour start to finish!

Kind of hard to see the hat, looks nice though.

I'm planning to make Ted one to match the next shorts I'm going to make for him, once I've finished the dress I've promised Nin (which I've drawn a pattern for - traced from another dress - and cut out the pieces for, just need a spare minute to make a start on it)

I do empathise with fast-moving, impossible to photo children!
