I have been making these for years.  My 7 yr old still uses hers!!!! Grin 
 I have discovered that the seam inside the hood will stay much neater for MUCH longer if you encase it with some bias tape/ribbon/etc.

When I made one of these for my daughter a few years ago, I didn't buy a second towel. . .so I made the extra half of the hand towel into a matching bath mitt.  Smiley

I love these!  And thank you so much for the Tut!  I was thinking of doing one with a "Cars" character on the back for a three year old... How important is the crease in your experience?  (I think it would make the picture look funny) Thanks again!
