just in time for the summer i decided to make a beret. seasonal knitting is something i just can't seem to do. Roll Eyes

pattern: http://www.purlbee.com/beret-purl/
yarn: i seem to have lost the label but it was a finnish wool yarn i got in a swap with shiitake.
notes: it came out a bit big and lazy as i am i refused to frog it so i solved it by crocheting around the ribbing for a better fit.

I love it! The color is fantastic and it will look fantastic on a not so hot summer afternoon.

It's winter here but I've been seeing in fashion magazines this new yellow trend which I couldn't really figure out how to pull off for next spring but your beret is perfect! I might copy you on this one!   Wink

If all our life is but a dream, fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me.
