I made an airy for a friend of my Mum's who is expecting. There will also be baby knits but I wanted to knit her something glam to make her feel special with all the baby focus going on.

I really like the pink version of it!

I think I've knitted about 7 or 8 airy scarves now to be given away.. ! I didn't take pics of all of them, whoops.

Help!

I'm going to pick up 2 skeins of Manos tonight at my LYS but don't remember what size needle I need for the Purl Scarf. I have the book at home but am not stopping home before I get a ride with a friend (I've no car) to the store, where they are sold out of the book. Can anyone tell me needle size? I think it's 11 or 13...

i really like the red! i have some patons fuzzy wuzzy in red and some in black that i was going to try out. havent done any lace knitting yet. nice idea, i should make one for my friend who is expecting as well

I've really enjoyed reading through this thread and seeing all the gorgeous FOs. I recently swapped for this book and right now I'm waiting for it to arrive (why does the mail always seems so slow when you're waiting for something fun?!). It's truly amazing how the hourglass sweater seems to flatter everyone. And the airy scarf is so pretty in all its incarnations. I love the idea of wearing it as a headscarf, too. Can't wait to get started!
