Hmmm... these pics have made me think again about attempting the hourglass sweater...

I'll prolly assemble it in something cheap, like wool of the Andes, just in case!

I blocked the ends to make them look neater. I made that scarf for a friend so I wanted the presentation to look nice, but it doesn't really matter once you start wearing it because it gets stretched out.

Thanks! I used Lane Cervinia "Softer", the color is a very pretty light blue, but the picture is not that good. It was hard to photograph the fuzzy yarn. I used 5.5mm needles with it.

Here's the airy scarf -- made just in time so i could go to the mountains! (i know, not scarf-y enough to satisfy cold mtn weather, but i figured that out later  Undecided)
