Don't fret the install.  It was so much easier than I thought it would be...  Glad you can get some use out of it!  Let me know if you have any questions, etc.

I am knitting on my next knit from this book right now - Hourglass!

A finished "Kim's hat"

This is quite possibly the only time I have used the yarn called for in a pattern. I love Manos del Uruguay.

Love the pair of hats.  I used cotton tots to do the children's placket sweater from this book.  I washed and dried them and they looked great, and stayed very soft.  My first good experience with cotton yarn!

Finished gift-bag: medium size, using Pachuko organic cotton.
Time taken: just over 10 hours altogether, over about a month.

The organic cotton was lovely to use, but I always enjoy knitting with cotton anyway. It was soft and only split once or twice. I deliberately kept track of how long I was taking, in order to compare, but then re-read the introduction where the author states that the times are based on experienced knitters making the smallest sizes.

This was really easy to make and I've had a lot of compliments on it. Now I just have to decide what I'm going to do with it.

I so want to make the hourglass sweater but I'm not positive how much money I want to spend on yarn (although I love cash iroha). How many skeins did your gorgeous green one take? Is it super warm?
