Oh my goodnes - your bag is beautiful!!!!  Your lining looks so nice - very professional.  The recipient is very lucky to have a friend like you!

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

Isn't this a great book?  I've made a few hats and a scarf, but my favourite has been the hourglass sweater.  Here's my version:

Lovely Hourglass! I don't know what it is about that pattern, but they all seem to come out great. I have made two myself and they are both really different - different yarns and totally different fits - but I love them both.

I love looking at all the pictures in this book!  Here are a few animal friends I've made.  The rabbit is some fluffy soft yarn, the teeny bear is sock yarn, and the elephant is some acrylic red heartish yarn.  The yellow bear is made of Heaven, the softest yarn in the world.  I love how changing the yarn changes the whole look of the project.

Great sweater, herekitty! What yarn did you use?

The Hourglass is on my "to do" list as well...

Thanks Bloocanoe Smiley
I used 'Zara' by Filatura di Crosa.  It's my favourite wool yarn because it's so soft and stretchy.

Those are cute little animals - I like the bunny the best!

That sweater fits you wonderfully.  I may have to buy this book someday just for that pattern.

I made this scarf a couple months ago.

It took 2 skeins of yarn.
