I've been wanting to make the silk camisole since I first bought the book.. I live in florida so it's something that I can knit and actually use.
Anyway.. I'm really happy with  it.. (^_^)


the yarn I used is elsebeth lavold's cotton frappe'. I would definitely  use this yarn again..more details on my blog .. the link is below..thanks for checking it out..

blood, sweat and tears....
well, maybe not blood or sweat, but definately tears, many tears.  I never got the gauge right for this sweater. I had attempted this sweater about 4 times before i got something wearable.  I gave up at one point, and then I knew I had to make it and LIKE it or I was going to give up knitting!! This sweater was a BIG deal for me! I just made a small size and it came out miraculously. I used knitpicks wool of the andes in asparagus.


After ripping out the neckline AND sewing it back in TWICE, i gave up and went with a simple rib that I like the fit of.

I like it very much. It fits great, looks great and seems like it's probably real comfortable too. I know you're probably really happy to be done with it - it sounds like a real pain, but it came out great.

I love your Hourglass Sweater.  I have started this and ripped it out, so I can relate to your frustration.  I am going to start up again.  I really like it.  Great job.  Love the color, too.
