Thanks for the compliments! Nope I didn't make any changes to the hourglass pattern. I'm not particularly good at doing that so I don't try... The only thing I did do was twist every stitch by accident. I am working on another one now in R2 paper.

I tried the wrist warmers from the book.  Angry
Need I say more? I thought maybe I could figure out the thumbhole thing, and I reread the above posts about it a hundred times, and went for it...now I need to start over. I get so frustrated with myself, because I figure if I have a pattern (and help from this forum) I really should be able to get it! Argh. I'll try again!

Thanks for listening,
Tere

Tere, I haven't succeeded in knitting the wrist warmers successfully either... don't feel bad.  Smiley

Illana, your sweater looks awesome. Love the color. Do you mind if I ask what size you made? This sweater is very high on my to-do list, but I havent decided what size to makethe 37 finished sweater would only give me an inch of ease, but the 40 finished sweater seems like a little too much ease for something meant to be shapely!

Yes, Tere! Yes, I now have seen it! It's fabulous! I'm sure your mom will like it--my mom went crazy for hers. I loved the color, too. Nicely done!

I too am in LOVE with this book.  I've made the wrist warmers (the ribbed ones, because the others were too girly for me) and I'm currently working on one of kims hats.  It seems like I've done more, but I can't remember... to lazy to go look at the book.
