First scrapbook! A little-bitty paper bag one. Now with tutorial!!

Scroll down the page for tutorial!
My sister's been working on a scrapbook, and it looked like fun, so I decided to make my own! And because I'd rather craft for other people than myself, it's going to my lovely boyfriend.
I don't have the money right now to buy all sorts of stuff, so I made the book itself out of brown paper lunch bags (we always have millions of them lying around my house), and mooched off her paper scraps and the stickers she didn't want.
Here's pictures!
Cover:

Page 3/4:
(he's my knight in shining armor!)
Page 5/6:
Page 6 has a little pull-out tab with writing!
Page 7/8:
Page 9/10:
Page 11/12:
Page 13/14:
(featuring our goofy 8th grade pictures on page 13)
I want to do something with the back cover, but I can't think of what. I might just decorate it a little (maybe some henna) and write some sort of message.
Comments and criticism especially are greatly appreciated! I love all the scrapbooks posted here and would really like to hear your opinions.
Thanks for checking out my uberly-long post!

that's really really cute.
Did you just cut paper bags into the size of the pages? Were they double layered?

I didn't cut the bags at all. They're just stacked on top of one another and bound together with a cord so they fold in half. Each page is 5x5 inches since the bag was 5x10.
The nice thing about using whole bags is that it makes little pockets where the opening of the bag is, and you can make pull-out things that tuck inside.
I can make a quick tutorial if that's too confusing.
Thank you for the compliments!
Oh, and I promise the pages are straight, I just scanned them crooked.

Tutorial time!
It's very easy, I think you'll be surprised!
Step 1:
Get your paper bags. You can use as many as you want, but I'm just using 2 for illustration purposes.
Step 2:
Stack them one on top the other. Congratulations, you're now the proud owner of a paper-bag pile!
Step 3:
Fold the pile in half hamburger-style. It looks like a book now!
Step 4:
Bind the book however you want. For mine, I punched two holed in the fold and threaded hemp through it. You could use staples, or sew along the fold, or whatever floats your boat!
Here's the little "pocket" the bags make! You can tuck notes/pictures into the pocket, or if you want more pages, cut the two sides of the bag apart. Two pages just became four!
Hope this is helpful, now go let your creativity run wild!

Very clever, smart and creative. I like the way you think. When we don't have the $$$, we can almost always come up with something great, better even, than had we gone to the scrap store and bought. Great job!
Warmly,
Lynn
