i just finished this free pattern from straw.com:

http://www.straw.com/cpy/patterns/creme-slevless-brknrib.html

This is the extra-small size (options are XS - L).  It knits up as a front and back piece joined in the round at the neck and arms and seemed at shoulders and sides, so nothing fancy.  What I really liked about this pattern is that the alternation of long and short ribs really helps you keep track of how many rows you've knit, so matching the length of the front & back pieces involves zero guesswork!

Tip:  don't use cheap yarn like I did.

nothing too complex -- i recommend it!

I think yours looks far nicer than the original.  Love the colour.

I agree, this one is much nicer, and I love how bright it is.
