I showed this to my dad and he loved it, this is great and now were both thinking about working on this. I've always liked the work you do and you did an amazing job on this!  Smiley

He was telling me how he did a large bar top for a club down in Florida in the 80s. And from what he said he remembers that you can set items on top into it while its still wet and you have the mold and can pop them out, they used ashtrays for this. So I guess you can do allot of things with materials like this once you get use to it

I thought that I said this was awesome, but I guess my post didn't go through. So...

This is so awesome! Cheesy I love it! This is not "just another coaster."

Thanks. Thanks to all. I do what I can with what I got. It's amazing what you can do with a bunch of random crap and some free time. (twisted minds are optional)

What a good woman you are. Men love custom items made especially for them. Besides, every MAN's garage is a hangout place. One with a bar is just iceing on the cake. Just make sure you put something manly inside (bullets, gears, parts, pinups, etc)

Ding ding ding, you just made my day! I have 3 coffee cans of spent bullet casings ( can't leave them in the desert thats just WRONG ). My son was just asking me the other day what I planned to do with them, and I had the standard I don't know but I will think of something reply.( I had delusions of reloads till I saw how expensive the initial start up is ). Now I can make coasters. You Da Man! Plus I have an excuse to go to Lowes oh happy day.

By the way, was the epoxy/acrylic expensive?? When i was looking at resin, it was $26 for a small can!!!!
