WOW yet again. Thanks bunches for the feedback. As for the molds, the plastic I used was just plain old regular (semi flexible) plastic (sort of like tupperware plastic). No releasing agents were used at all. At first, I thought they had bonded to the plastic, but once I pulled on the plastic, you could see where the epoxy breaks loose from the plastic and a good whack on the table, they came right out. I don't see why ice cube trays wouldn't work, or even those flexible rubber / plastic cookware trays. (been thinking about that last one). Let me know how it works out for you.

And also a big thanks goes to the moderator. I think this is the first time my work has made the "HOT NEW TOPICS" list, and now I have (2) at one time that has made it. This and the "USB Flash Drive Mods". Thanks again. Thanks again to everyone.

foldingj, are you single?
Cause I've been looking for a man like you!

Seriously though...
(Now that I've made you uncomfortable)

I love all your projects & the materials you use
I've played around with epoxy with OK results
Maybe I'll try again
Thanks for the great ideas.

LOL. Thanks for the feedback. And Cefsha, it takes a lot more than that to make me uncomfortable. You should see the things me and my little band of freaks do for fun. LOL. Thanks for checking out my projects. It's nice to be appreciated for my talents and not just for my body and mind. LOL.

foldingj- do you think that stuff would work poured over bottle caps glued to a wooden spool (the kind wire cable comes on)? I'm looking for something to seal over the top of the caps like the way your coasters look. I'd appreciate your opinion. Love the coasters.

I don't see why not. My suggestion ,if you are pouring it thick enough to cover the caps, is to run some tape around the edge to keep it from just spilling over the edge. But then the tape would probably stick to the epoxy too bad and not come off without cutting it off. Even better idea would be to find some thin wood or laminate (would be easier to bend without breaking) and run it around the top of the spool making a good barrier. With the wood or laminate, it could stay there afterwards. Hmmmm, you got me thinking of more projects. Thanks and good luck. Don't forget to post what you do, I am very interested.
