Vancouver "Fashion Plate" Archives--might be a repost

These articles were in the Georgia Straight at Straight.com  (boy i missed it while i lived in Edmonton!) and have a lot of relevance to this forum--lots of ideas and Angela Murrills *must* be a crafter too as she often mentions buying dabs at Dressew and re-creating a look!! Enjoy!!

If any craftster in Vancouver hasn't found Dressew by now, it's the BEST fabric store in the city by far, and it has awesome prices (fabric for a couple bucks a meter, bags of zippers and trim for 3 bucks, and embroidery floss for TEN CENTS A SKEIN, can you believe it!).  It's located essentially at the corner of Cambie and Hastings, 317 W. Hasting Street.  Hours are 9-5:15 M-Sat, closed Sundays.

i missed those days when I loitered in fabric stores whole day in Vancouver - nothing compared to those shops here in hong kong - nothing crafty - products or supplies - here at all!!!
