Really fabulous and inspiring display with your beautiful vessels Lakshmi. Smiley
I am thrilled to see the alternate uses of vessels, and just like GO said, many design options for the mouths/openings too.
thanks so much for sharing them.  Smiley

Oh, pretty!  These are beautiful vessels!  I really like the effect created by gathering the top.

Lakshmi - They are beautiful, really like the gathering and beads! And I love that you used one for your potted plant. Now I know what to do with all the vessels I've planned Cheesy

Alatheia - Wow! Cool shape! And that are some clear colours.

My colours always seem to turn out a bit muted since they blend into each other. Do I felt it too much?

Here are my white vessel when it is finished. And the colours are much more muted than during felting since the white wool has gone through the coloured one...

I had a glass vessel and felted(?) around it.
I like yours too vildhavre!

I've been "appreciating" felted objects for awhile now and lurking in the shadows but your pot Vildhavre made me stand up and take notice.
It's GORGEOUS, I love it! I am adding this to my wists! WOW!
*can you tell I like it?*

pure awesomeness.  Grin

alatheia, I really like how you choose to use a glass vase to felt over top. That is another great way to create a (more functional) vase and play with shape, I love the colours you've chosen. I love bold colours like that.  Smiley

Vildhavre, you just keep getting more and more fun with this. yay. I have to agree with WIP's that this is very Much like spring to me. Lovely composition.  Smiley
Are you keeping your colours very spearate throughout your layers? Or are you using all your colours in each layer? If you use very different colours in each layer, or section, you might have an easier time keeping the colours separate? The wool WILL blend no matter what, but, white or light coloured wools will be more obvious to the eye.
Try 2 very contrasting colours 2 layers on for the interior, and 2 for the exterior and see if that works?

Okay, I've loaded my pics and I can't figure out how to get the pics from flickr here, I dont even know if you can so links (snore) again. sorry.  Undecided

thanks so much for taking the time to look tho. Smiley
Cheers!!
