They are not crocheted with thread. I thought about embroidery floss first but I didn't have any and since I'm notoriously broke and didn't feel like going shopping anyway, I took plain ww yarn and "split" it into three parts. It only works with some types of yarn, though. Some will break. I used a 1.25mm hook for crocheting.

@ Eliea: I already started with the shrooms. One of them is finished and I'm quite happy with it. It reminds me of my old Nintendo games. I'll try to post a pattern this weekend (after my exam...) - I've never done a pattern before, I hope it works...

Oh thanks you! *hugs you* I can't wait to see them! We studied mushrooms in biology years ago and how they are fungi but we eat them. Any ways the whole edible fungi thing has stuck. Smiley
