i made it for my son who recently turned one. i took the whole thing apart before i painted it which made it a lot easier. i primed it with plastic primer first but that stuff doesn't stick real well to little tykes toys so anytime it bumps something the paint chips off.  the "wood" is contact paper. i think its real touristy looking. haha. yep well thanks for looking.

That's so awesome! I always look at that woodgrain contact paper and wonder what the heck you'd do with it. And the hula girl is perfect.
I love the one from the original post too. I don't have kids, but I totally want to gussy up one of these cars myself and just keep it around the house!  Wink

Thanks for the inspiration.  My daughter has one of those little pink Harleys and now that she's outgrown it, we've wanted to boy-a-fy it for the grandkids.  Looks like thar be projects ahead cap'n!
