hand carved stamps are the best! I need to learn that.  I think whether they are ravens are crows they are still just a big black bird and all of the ones here look great!

Thanks, everyone. Carving stamps is really easy. They sell artist carving blocks at Michaels or DickBlick. (I used Staedtler Mastercarve blocks) They are really soft and easy to carve. I think if you do a search here, you will probably find a few posts on hand carving stamps. I've also carved stamps out of linoleum, but the lino is a little harder to carve and really wants special linoleum ink for a good image. The carving blocks work well with stamp pads.

You can heat lino up with an iron to make it more supple and easier to carve if necessary. You need to protect the iron with a cloth/appropriate paper though. Smiley

I was wondering if that was punch embroidery! I just got a needle punch tool-never thought of making ATCs though-great idea and beautifully done!
