Wow GumNmyHare!  That card is really beautiful.  What did you make the moon out of?

Yes, the gold moon is foil. I think it had a chocolate Easter egg in it at one time.

Rackycoo made me a beautiful card. She is going to post a pic for me. I can't wait for you to see it.
Thank you rackycoo

I am lovin' all the crow cards so far.

What's the difference between a crow and a raven?  I have no idea.

Both are members of the corvidae family. Ravens are larger, and I believe their beaks are more curved. Maybe they vary in terms of geographical distribution as well, but I don't know.

ALSO
Crows tail feathers are straight accross the bottom and ravens have a shovel shaped tail

Wow Racky...you post a big picture.

Yeah, I have no idea why that is so gigantic. Usually the ones I post are of a more manageable size. Oh well, it shows the detail better. I have a pic of the one I sent you, but it's with the other two I sent. I'll post it once the last one has arrived.  Smiley

I have received a card from Katxena... I absolutely love it!
Hopefully she can post a scan for me as my camera does not like to take pictures of ATC's. (hopefully the digital photography class i am taking this summer will help me to fix that Wink)

Here is the card I sent Linzo.  It's called "Crow Poet".

The crow image is from the brochure about the Tower of London I mentioned earlier -- which I guess makes it a raven image.   Roll Eyes  The line of poetry is from The Vision of Sir Launfal, by James Russell Lowell.  It's about how the Holy Grail was lost because its keepers defiled themselves.  I bought a small book of Lowell's poems at a used book store for 50-cents because it has some cool looking handwritten notes in it.  I was flipping through it while working on these cards, and that line of poetry jumped out at me -- pure serendipity.

The poem is very long.  The crow line is part of a section that describes the beauty of the castle where the grail is kept:

The crows flapped over by twos and threes,
In the pool drowsed the cattle up to their knees,
The little birds sang as if it were
The one day of summer in all the year,
And the very leaves seemed to sing on the trees:
The castle alone in the landscape lay
Like an outpost of winter, dull and gray;
'T was the proudest hall in the North Countree

And here is the final, and alltogether fabulous card to me from Katxena, entitled "crow mom" . I love the layers and the vintage crow image so much:) Kristie is really excelling in her ATC skills! And that's a great tip about the gold edging too:)

Kristie also sent along some foreign language ephemera and heart stickers that I love! Thanks Kristie!

What's the difference between a crow and a raven?  I have no idea.

There is a half rhyme to remember who is who...

A crow on its own is a rook,
A rook in a group is a crow.

As for Ravens I have no idea!
