A-roze has received my card, and asked me to post a picture.

It's called "London Cawing."  The background text is from a brochure about the Tower of London -- it tells the legend about how the British Empire will fall if all the ravens ever leave the Tower.  The raven is from a book of European Illustrations from the early 1980s -- it was an ad for Macbeth, and the thing the raven is standing on is really a skull.  The little rust/copper doodad was something I got from A-roze in the fill-a-matchbox swap -- I thought it balanced the card really well.

Most of my collages rely on a lot of blending with paint, so I'm working on making collages that rely less heavily on that.  Although I used paint on this card to color the background and change the color of the part on the right from purple to eggplant, this card is more about the individual elements than my cards usually are.

Those are some great cards coming in already! I think that's the first punch needle card I've seen ~ so unique! The Poe themed cards are great, and I love that funky little crow on your card, kat!

What's the difference between a crow and a raven?  I have no idea.

My card is even better in person! Kat, it looks like you perfected the gold edging like I use.
