Details of swap:
This swap is for all you chefs out there! The basic idea is to send 3 recipes for every month. They can be anything; breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, dessert, or even beverages! It's up to you and your partner how you want to put them together, such as recipe cards or a notebook, or you can even send more than 3 recipes for each month depending on what you and your partner prefer. It's also up to you whether you want to send all 36 recipes at once or do 3 a month for a year, I'll partner you up with someone that prefers the same. =)

okay, to explain a little better, I am going to do this as an ongoing swap. I will leave feedback every month for those of you who wish to do it as ongoing rather than all at once. If you're doing it all at once, feedback will be done normally. I will partner up those who want to do it all at once with others who want to do it all at once, this way people sending all at once receive their's all at once and people sending 3 a month receive 3 a month. The send out date will be the 12th of every month, unless that happens to fall on a Sunday or holiday, in which case the send out date will be the 13th. If for some reason someone can't participate one month, i will redo the partnerings accordingly so everyone receives and no one is ever flaked on. If you have any questions, feel free to pm me. =)

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

Oh someone got to ask the question before me. It sounds interesting either way but would like to know.

Yes I do Personal swaps though you might have to ask me really nicely as I don't have huge swathes of time on my hands Smiley However I love crafting for other people.

Ohhhh - when I read the original thread - I thought it would be three recipes per month! 36 recipes are a LOT if you're handwriting them all at once  Tongue This is only my opinion, but it might be fun to do it all year round so that you can look forward to something in the mail Smiley Cheers, S

Three recipes per month does sound like more fun, but that makes this an awfully long swap (both for the brain to remember, and for you, our wonderful organizer).  I definitely wouldn't want a first time swapper joining, and not being able to join any other swaps for a whole year.  You could make it a 36 recipe swap, and maybe if some want to do it all at once, you could ask in the questionairre, and group those people together, and group the 3/month people together separately?

i was thinking about that too, i think maybe if it's done as basically one swap at a time, like count each month as a different swap that might make it a little easier, then a first timer could join if they'd like. i dunno, does that sound like a good idea?

I would be easier for me if I did all 36 at once, but could do it either way. I think I'd send a decorated recipe box or binder with the first three either way.

I can't join because I just started my first swap.  If I were to do it I would want to do 36 at one time.  I like the idea of either partnering up people who want to do all at once and people that want to do three at a time or the idea of having one swap a month.  Hopefully there will be more of this in the future so I can join.  Great idea Smiley
