dyabolica, do you know what language the symbol is? I guess it says Spring?

Also, when it's printed on the fabric, the symbol will be on the right side of the image and the bottom stock  and bridge will be on the left side of the tree?

That image you posted was an iron on transfer so we are looking at it reversed?

I'm not Dyabolica, but the character on the design is Japanese for spring.
http://www.kanjisite.com/html/start/rhsinfo/r_shunharu.html

Going by the way the Japanese character is, the image Dyabolica posted was already reversed.  So, when you stitch it, the bridge should be on the left and the symbol on the right.

I love this design and it is on my massive to do pile.  Thanks bunches!  I cant wait to see the other seasons!!!!!

That looks wonderful!

I have mine almost completed.  In the move, my leaves/blooms got rubbed off, so I have to find my pattern and transfer those again to finish it up.

I just saw the new pattern up.  I may be a while getting to it, but I have saved it to my computer.

Ok now I realize I transfered my pattern wrong.  So my symbol for spring is backwards.  Man I will have to see what to do now.  Any suggestions?

I don't think it will look bad if it's backwards.  Maybe you could stitch it the right way and attach it over the backwards print with an embroidery  frame around it? That would give a little more to the design and frame "Spring."

I needed to be sure it was printed right, because my step-mom can probably read it, or at least know it was backwards. She reads Chinese fluently. I think she said a lot of Chinese and Japanese words are kinda similar.

I'm going to get started on these after I get back from my trip on the 10 of July.

I don't think it will matter if you printed it backwards, if someone mentions it just look them dead in the eye and say Navajo basket makers purposely left a flaw in the basket because only god is perfect.

I've never done embroidery before, but that is so gorgeous I have to try.  I love Asian stuff!
