I am always on the look out for things to make with sheets, and I thought my fellow craftsters might be too. Heres a leaflet I have had for ages and ages, I posted my two favorite things to make with sheets. I love to make kids kimonos out of their favorite character sheets. My son has long out grown his star wars kimono so if anyone has a twind sized 80s star wars sheet I want it!!!! The booklet also shows you how to make sleeping bags, duvet, covers, curtains and dustruffles, I just didnt feel like scanning 8 pages...

That's super cool. I use sheets for my big projects: curtians, wall coverings, recovering my couch.  Just so much cheaper than buying fabric by the yard. I even I'd be interested in knowing what other projects are in there.

pinch pleated and cafe curtains, a duvet cover, a sleeping bag, how to make a shirred fabric wall and a dust ruffle. I have considered doing the shirred wall as a design accent behind my bed.I just havent found the right sheets.

That's pretty awesome!

There's a simple way to wrap yourself into a halter/halter dress using a sheet or towel too! This is just more complicated!

hey that book is so cool. Right after my own heart. Thanks so much for posting those pages. It is so crazy, but right now I actually am making a kimono robe, halfway done, out of a duvet, which i just like 2 sheets in one. When I saw your post it helped make it easier. I was doing it with my own pattern. Again, very cool. Sheets are sooooo much cheeper and you usually can't find designs that neat in fabric. Plus finding that wide, very very very expensive.
Take care.

How wonderful! Back to Kmart's clearance shelves. Was just there holding some beautiful Martha Stewart sheets wondering what I could use them for. Now I know! I know you posted this a while ago; any chance of a few more scans? It would be appreciated... this is such a tease not seeing the rest! Thanks for the patterns!

using sheets rule... there are alot of things i have made using sheets..... I am now on the hunt for those tye dye sheets  that where popular a couple years back & my youngest dd wants a tye dye bed set... plus a set of curtains...  i figured it would be cheaper than buying the materail & the dye... i i only need three twin osheets... so if any one has a sheets i would greatly take them.. even full size.....lol

I remember in the late 70's, we lived in military housing, and you weren't allowed to paint the walls.  So my mom found some sheets she liked, and also some acetate satin, and put them on various walls.  The satin went with us to several houses, she had gold and purple, and hung her huge wedding portrait with a regal backdrop!!  In her bedroom I recall a yellowy gold with ditzy flowers.  She used staples, if I recall correctly.  Kinda funny, but resourceful!
