I love this; so pretty and feminine, and lacy without being over the top .

I saw on your blog that you used Miami Four Season yarn, but I can't find any info about it.  Do you mind if I ask what is the fiber content and weight?

I bought it online in online shop called One Fine Yarn. It's 100% cotton and it's DK weight (110 yard/50 gram). I love this yarn but I also love to use fingering weight yarn, so I split the yarn into 2. Let me know if you have anymore question.

Wow, it looks amazing!  It fits great.  It would be fun to see these in a rainbow of different colours.

How did you split the yarn?  Do you do that for a lot of your projects?  Do you describe the method in your patterns?

The reason I split is because, I find that I prefer to knit with fingering weight yarn (and crochet with thread), It's time consuming but the result is worth it. However, most of the yarn in the market is DK. Only limited choice for cotton fingering weight yarn (except socks yarn), so I have to do the splitting.

Here is the tip:http://lilygo.blogspot.com/2007/03/my-orchid-new-crocheted-project.html
