Thanks Cheesy - I will have to make her wear it tomorrow.

I think the tutorial was perfect - I barely had to read with all those pictures - it was very easy to follow.  I am pattern retarded so seeing something done piece by piece really helps.

This is my very first post here -- I saw this tutorial a few hours ago and absolutely had to try it immediately for my 3 yo.  I used an old shirt of my husband's and then dyed it red with RIT after sewing it all together.

(Oops, can't post pics yet - but here's a link: http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f246/kbrengle/Hpim1471.jpg

Unfortunately she's asleep so she can't model it lol.

Thank you so much!  I will definitely be doing more of these.

That is so adorable and I love the colors that you chose.  Great job!  Keep em coming!

Here's the little model Wink:

too cute! she's gettin' her sass on!
i see you actually sewed the two sides together at the bottom - your shirt must have been wider than mine. now is when i confess that i pretty much have to leave the bottom button undone so dd can still climb up onto dangerous objects and whatnot. Wink

AH!  This is awesome!  I love that the back of the shirt became the front of the dress and that the button front of the shirt is in the back! Its so cute!  The use of brown trim is very nice also.

Too adoarble!  Both dresses.  I wonder if this could be sized up to a size 7?  I want to make a few things for my fiancee's niece and this would be adorable!
