I've given this a "This Rocks" and I'm printing it out IMMEDIATELY, even though my little lass is only 9 months old and it's the middle of winter here.... like the PP said, "such a technicality"! Fantastic job!!!

I love this!  Can't wait to try it out!  Lucky me, hubby has a few dress shirts that he can no longer wear!

I have been looking for a simple pattern for a sundress for my daughter! This tutorial is a godsend. Thank you so much for making it! I know I've got at least three shirts in my closet perfect for this.

Thanks for the tut.  I think that could be modified to make an adult tank top of some sort maybe I will try that before I scare the heck out of my boyfriend by telling him I want daughters right this second...

lol. yeah, that might be a good way to send your boyfriend running screaming.

i was thinking the same thing about the adult sized tank. there is a tutorial on craftster that does something similar. and it was actually a tank i got recently from Old Navy that probably put the idea for this dress into my head in the first place.

This is my very first post here -- I saw this tutorial a few hours ago and absolutely had to try it immediately for my 3 yo.  I used an old shirt of my husband's and then dyed it red with RIT after sewing it all together.

(Oops, can't post pics yet - but here's a link: http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f246/kbrengle/Hpim1471.jpg

Unfortunately she's asleep so she can't model it lol.

Thank you so much!  I will definitely be doing more of these.
