I love this dress! My husband has a whole lot of 90's club shirts that would look great as little girl's dresses. Wish I were as talented as you.

Great recon!  I wonder how big of a shirt I would need to make one of these in my size. . . .

Just so you know, I fully intend to steal this idea...

same.

This is seriously fab.  I also have a stack of men's long sleeve button shirts from a picky partner who never wears shirts other people buy for him and because they're so cheap in the thrift stores.  I've been meaning to do something like this for me, never mind the little one.

I'm very much in awe of your recon skills  Shocked

Fabulous! You found the true calling for that shirt! It's gorgeous and she looks divine in it!

I would also love a tutorial if you have the time to post one. Getting my husband to throw/donate any of his clothes is sheer torture, but I'll bet he'd be more willing to see them go to a good use!

thanks everybody!  Grin

since i can't wait to see all the unloved pimp shirts turned into adorable little dresses, i guess i'd better get started on that tut! i took a bunch of photos while making this dress, so hopefully i got all i needed. it really is a pretty simple recon.

and hubby was happy to hear people liked his pics of the wee one! he loves any excuse to take pics of the little girl. Smiley

yes, pretty please - i have NO idea how to do this but I have the shirt all picked out.   A funky paisley that's just a smidge too cool for my husband.
Thanks!
