They're so fast to make!!!   Grin

The solid on the top/left is too small, I made that pair about 6 months ago from Debbie Bliss silk/cashmere blend.  They're still silky soft, of course, so she still forces them on her feet.  I have only finished one of the striped socks that's on the bottom/right.  these are from a cotton/wool blend that's light and summery and knits up quickly, even at a somewhat fine gauge Smiley

I like them both!  I especially like the purple colour - I can understand her wearing them even though they're too small!

LOL...makes me sound a bit like a foot fetishist....maybe I should change it..since it IS my kiddo's feet I'm talking about! Wink

No, they're both knitted socks...I think the varigation on that second sock completly masks any stitch definition...which is okay since it's just SS, and there's not anything fancy going on Smiley
