All of these are so great! I am definitely going to make some before next winter.  And I think, and I say think, spring is here. Linda in MA

Here are my Hurry Up Spring armwarmers . . . I reversed the chart and lined up the stripes and everything!  Plus, they really did make spring hurry up and come to Philly.

Those are soooo incredibly beautiful, pinkhairedcyn!  Great job!  What colorway did you use?

Sewerrat - Thanks!  I used colorway #74.  It's got lots of different shades of pink in it (and thus I was naturally attracted to it).

I noticed that this question was asked, but never answered, and I'm at this point now. I've finished the armwarmer, and I'm doing the thumb. I don't understand when it says join the yarn. Join the yarn to what other yarn? Or do I start knitting like a new thread? It's the first time I've ever done a thumb.

Thanks in advance.

BTW, I love all the pictures of your armwarmers. Grin

Just start knitting with the new yarn. Smiley

I finally managed to take my armwarmers off long enough to block them.  They are soooo soft and glorious now. Cheesy

I was the one that asked the question. You just take the yarn that left on skein and start knitting on the thumb in the round like before. If you have any other questions leave me a message and I'll be glad to help.

Thank you so much. I kinda figured it out, not really knowing if it was right or not, but I figured I'd improvise if it didn't work. It did, and now I'm on my second pair  Cheesy

Hey guys-
I'm about to embark on the second arm-warmer and I just scanned and flipped the cabling chart.  Still not completely sure that it's going to work, but in case other people want the chart, here it is.  It had to be tiny for the craftster hosting page, so if you want a bigger version, message me and i can send it to you.

Also, I'm knitting my arm-warmers up as the bastard child of Hurry Up Spring from SnB and knitty.com's Broadstreet mittens (adding fingers to the SnB pattern, and the removable mitten thing). We'll see how they turn out!  I'll post pics when i'm done.

This is the broadstreet pattern:

I'm a little nervous about this second arm-warmer, but here goes nothing!
