So there is my little skull that I just whipped up.. I am not sure what I am going to do with him... Other than make him into a paperweight, I am really at a loss as to what my little skull can be.. Maybe I will start on some bones and construct him a figure.. Not entirely sure yet.. Anyone have any ideas what I can do with my lumpy headed skull friend?

Sorry that the closeups get washed out.. I need to figure out how to stop my flash from doing that.. hmm..

Ok just a quick heads up (har har), this skull is hollow, I didn't stuff him. I thought it would be neat, kinda like a mini little skull.

Ok Yorick is crocheted in the round using single crochet. I used Red Heart super saver yarn cause its stiff, and a size G crochet hook. I abbreviate so if something needs to be clarified please let me know!

1: ch2, 6sc in 2nd chain from hook
2: 2 sc in each sc (12sc)
3: 1sc in one stitch 2 sc in next stitch, repeat around (18sc)
4: repeat row 3 (27sc)
5: 1sc in 2 stitches, 2sc in next stitch, repear around (36sc)
6-17: 1sc in each sc around

Forming the back of the skull (there will be 10 sc that are untouched for rounds 18-21)

18: sc 2sc tog, repeat 12 times (13sc)
19: sc 2sc tog 3 times, sc in next stitch, sc 2sc tog 3 times (7sc)
20: sc 2sc tog, sc 3sc tog, sc 2 sc tog (3sc)
21: sc 2 sc tog finish off.

Forming the jaw go back to the 10 previously untouched sc from round 17 and crochet 2 rows to make the jaw.

And TADA you have your very own little skull.

I would love to see some pics of other people's creations!!  Grin Grin Grin

Do what you will with my pattern but please give me credit if you do. Thanks!

Ahh my english teacher would LOVE that.

I think you should crochet him some more bones and then string him together somehow so he's poseable. That could be fun to play with. Like one of those wooden ones they use for drawing!

I'd sit him on top of my computer and just admire his coolness.

I'd love a tut for him.

His eyes are two little fake roses like the kind they use at weddings.. They were stuck into his skull to cover up his horribly embroidered eyes.. he he he..

Once I fix the lumps in his skull I will post a tut.. I just don't want to post a pattern for a lumpy lopsided skull head. So hopefully later today I will redo it and post one for everyone!  Grin
