Hi,
After looking around on here, this is something I'd really like to try.  Does anyone know of a good book to learn weaving from?

"Learning to Weave" by Deborah Chandler

It has the best and easiest to follow instructions.  My copy is oh so worn but still one of my greatest treasures.  It includes a great instructions on warping and weaving and backstitching...all the things you need to learn to do it right the first time and every time.

I have to agree with Learning to Weave. It's one of the best all around "teach yourself to weave." books out there.
