Old top to new tote *first project post*

I'm very excited to post my first project on here.  It's a gift for my aunt, who let husband and I crash at her place on our road trip.  She bought me this pink tank top when I was 10.  I wore it so often, it's almost see-through.  I retired it to the back of my drawer about 5 years ago because I couldn't part with it.  I thought of it when we were visiting her and just had to make her a thank you gift.

cut out front and fused bias tape to edges


fused tank top to denim (for strength), lined with pink fabric, magnetic snap, even added a zipper a la SewPixie's zipper tutorial
