Bead brain
« on: May 12, 2007 11:40:54 PM »

I made this bracelet for my Mom for Mothers Day. It's based on a pattern from a 2002 Bead & Button magazine.

I used this butterfly pin as a "bow" on the package.  It's based on an old Bead & Button pattern as well.

(sorry for the blurry photos, I need to work on my photography skills)

Thank you one & all for your kind words. I really enjoyed making it & My Mom really liked it.
It really didn't take very long to finish.  It's a cool way to bead, you make a frame & then fill in it in with the beads.

That bracelet is amazing... such meticulous work. I'm not sure I'd ever have the patience to do that, but I do admire your ability to produce such a beautiful item.

I love the colours and general funness of this, and have eternal respect for anyone with the patience to make pretty patterns in beads. I have a scarf made of little crochet (I think) circles that would go so well with this. Gorgeous piece!
