up until like 20 minutes ago, i was panicking, needing a gift for mom for tomorrow...i had planned to make a purse, had bought some old clothes at the thrift store to make it (lol), and then found out that my younger sister already gave her 2 purses... *sigh*

so, i found the tutorial to make tissue holders (my mom has horrible allergies), and made her these adorable ones to go in her purse and her tote, both of which she takes to work with her! best part is, they only took like 5 or 6 minutes each, including making the "pattern."

edit:

it kinda sucks, cause i had done the green paper like 2 years ago and it was starting to peel around the edges and whatnot, and the top was slightly torn, and i only had a few minutes to do it, but here's my wrapping for the kleenex holders!

the tutorial is here: http://belladia.typepad.com/photos/travel_tissue_holder_tuto/index.html

and for sizing, wrap a piece of scrap fabric around your pack of tissues lenghthwise and across, and then add about 1/2 inch to the width and an inch to the length. did that make sense?
