I didn't actually make this (I only wish I were that good) but my grandfather did.
Well, he pieced the top for my mom a long time ago.  She had it machine quilted recently, since none of us are too good at quilting... and didn't want to mess this up.

Enough of my talking!

The whole-ish quilt (It was kind of hard to get a picture...)


And a quick close up...


It kind of looks like it's a little off to me, but I think it's just the way the quilt is laying.

Holy crap, that is unbelievably awesome. Amazing piecework. I could NEVER sew pieces so small and long so STRAIGHT! So very inspirational (though as I said, NEVER! but I can dream!).

DAMN!  That is rockin awesome!  I love the log cabin patterns.  They always turn out so cool.  And there are a million bazillion different ways to put the final blocks together.  I'm sure this will be an heirloom for your family for generations!
