So cute, I love the mods you made to the original.  I am midway through this same pattern, and am so glad you said to leave off the back ruffle.  I think I may do the same thing.

shae16:  Leaving off the back ruffle was actually an idea I saw in this forum a while ago, and it just sounded more sensible and comfortable to lean back on. Post pics here when you finish yours!

I finally finished mine, and my daughter couldn't wait to wear it.  I used the Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in Pink a Boo and a berry red (I can't remember the name, too lazy to go downstairs and find out).  I added an inch and a half to the length, and eliminated the back ruffle all together (thanks woohag!!).  I need to adjust the straps as they are a little too long, but my darling daughter insisted on wearing it to school today anyway...

SO CUTE shae16! Thanks for posting pics of yours. The straps for mine (the yellow one I originally posted) were too long for my niece too, but since I had completely bound off and crocheted the straps separately, I'm going to just undo and redo them...fun. :-)

I'm slow-going knitting the second ruffle tank for my friend's daughter, but I love the color...a real deep pink, Bernat Cotton Tots "strawberry". I'm knitting on circs for the first time and HOLY EASIER! NO SEAMING and just round and round and round...boring but easy.  I will post pics of that when I'm done, but for now here's one of my niece wearing hers:

I love Blythe...I discovered them while doing a random knitting google search and am now a bit obsessed...I'm not knitting them clothes or anything, but I just love their look.
