She's 3/4" particle board I dragged in from the alley behind my house. I'll probably suck it up and buy the quality stuff next time because the porous surface drank the paint and faded the color a little bit (even with a coat of polyurethane). Also the splintery-ness of it sucked. It was nice and soft though, so the jigsaw cut through it like guacamole.
