Ive been wanting to make a sweatshirt for a while, and i wante to nkow if anyone had anysuggestions for a good zip up hoodie. HOWEVER my main question was where are good places to buy fabric online? All i ever find is florally decorating fabric. I loved this sweatshirt from Kidrobot, (although im not about to fork over 165$ for it!) and i like the shape (i.e. the hooded zip sweatshirt pattern, kind of oversized) and i love the bright fabric , as well as some other fabrics of their site (its at http://kidrobot.com) because they're so colorful and bright. Any suggestions for where to get cool fabric?

I like Sewzannes.

I know you want recommendations for online stores, but I always find the most delightfully bizarre fabric at Joanns.  Clearance racks always have the most random fabric - I'm going to be picking up some Transformers flannel later today.

But I've found rockstar monkeys, cowboys and rocking horses, bright orange with galaxies, bowling themed, robots, and a whole lot more in stretchy knits and flannel.

ive never been to joannes but i always hear people talk about it. Is it good? I think there is one like an hour and a half away from me

Well, I wouldn't just go an hour and a half away just to search for cartoony fabric, since you never know what you'll find, but I've yet to go to a Joannes that doesn't have a nice variety of fabrics, both in style and material.  It might be worth the chance if you want to pick up a good bit of supplies (they have a nice variety of other crafty supplies as well, although the stores tend to be 50/50 between fabric and other crafts, with a good chunk of the other crafts being fake flower supplies) if you plan a day around it (and I don't mean a whole day in a fabric and craft store, but maybe go out for a nice lunch or bring some friends and do some other shopping).
